Ivan Mondaca, known as “Geeky” in the art world, has always embraced his inner geek/nerd. Why Geeky? Because he has always had a fascination with comic book characters and pop culture. He draws inspiration from his childhood, reflecting on the good times of his upbringing. Geeky takes cues from the most iconic comic book characters that have brought joy to many people over time, as well as pop culture icons that many admire. In addition to these figures, his works are heavily inspired by street art and graffiti.

He uses a combination of acrylic paint and spray paint on canvas, which creates a captivating texture and depth. Besides his hand-painted works, he also creates digital paintings that are printed on fine art paper. This diverse approach allows him to explore various techniques and formats while maintaining his unique style and expression across all his works.

“As an artist, I explore a world of iconic figures and street art. With vibrant colors and dynamic shapes, I give these characters a fresh and unique expression. My goal is to enrich the viewer's experience by offering a new perspective on well-known icons, while also spreading joy and inspiration through my works.
