Anetta Lukjanova

Anetta Lukjanova (b. 1993) is a visual artist based in Helsinki, Finland.


She works in a style inspired by modern/contemporary magical realism (a style of literary fiction and art). She often blends images of digital painting and the internet with realism rendered and executed in classical oil painting. The contrast between fast and slow image construction is also present in the themes of her works. She primarily works with mediums such as oil painting and mural art.


She graduated from the Barcelona Academy of Art in 2019 and has since returned to Finland to continue her work. Since the fall of 2022, Lukjanova has been studying at the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts.
