After completing her education at Asker Kunstskole, she had the privilege of refining her skills under the guidance of renowned mentors such as Ingolv Helland and Morten W. Reigstad. Marit's artworks have been featured in numerous exhibitions, including Galleri Unique in Drammen, Asker Kunstforening, pop-up art exhibitions, and various autumn exhibitions at Heggedal Hovedgård.

Beyond her proficiency in painting, Marit's artistic versatility is evident in her work as a book illustrator and her collaboration with the band Spearfish for their album cover. She is today most known for here work collection «Humanitè Luxe»
