Tone Skårbekk

Born on February 20, 1948, in Oslo and now residing in Larvik, Tone Skårbekk has established herself as a unique artist with a free, unconventional, and occasionally provocative style. Her work is often reminiscent of the spontaneity and expressiveness of the Cobra painters, while maintaining a distinctive artistic voice.

Tone studied under Professor James Green at Yale University, USA, during the 1970s. Her artistic career began with her debut exhibition in New Haven in 1972. Since then, she has been actively involved in both national and local art scenes.
